The Ultimate Movement Build Guide in ARC Raiders

Mar-12-2026 PST

Movement is not a luxury in ARC Raiders—it is a core survival mechanic. Whether you focus on PvP engagements or PvE expeditions, stamina economy and positional control frequently determine who extracts and who gets sent back to the lobby. This guide breaks down a high-efficiency movement build designed to maximize stamina sustain, traversal speed, and combat survivability.

It also assumes you have been completing Expeditions. Early on, five bonus skill points may not have seemed impactful. Now, with ten additional points available, the compounding value is substantial—equivalent to multiple fully invested nodes. Long-term progression through Expeditions is not optional if you want to remain competitive.

Phase 1: Mobility Core (Yellow Tree – 35+ Points)

We begin by allocating 15 points into stamina fundamentals:

· Marathon Runner

· Nimble Climber

· Youthful Lungs (Max Stamina increase)

This establishes your baseline stamina pool and regeneration efficiency. Even if you later pivot into Conditioning or Survival, investing early into stamina makes the entire build feel smoother.

Key Mobility Perks

· Effortless Roll – Reduced dodge roll stamina cost

· Heroic Leap – Vertical repositioning utility

· Crawl Before You Walk – Essential survivability perk

· Vigorous (1 point)

· Slip and Slide (2 points total)

· Sturdy Ankles (1 point)

· Calming Stroll (1 point)

· Vaults on Vaults – Vaulting no longer costs stamina

Let’s address a common misconception: “These are minor reductions.” Individually? Perhaps. Collectively? Transformational.

Reduced roll cost + free vaulting + improved regen + sprint efficiency creates cumulative stamina elasticity. The difference between escaping with 5% stamina and collapsing mid-animation is often determined by these incremental gains. Vaults on Vaults is particularly strong if you favor vertical or urban traversal-heavy zones. Eliminating stamina drain from vaulting allows continuous momentum chaining.

Synergy Layer: Stamina Interaction

Two standout interactions elevate this build:

· Carry the Momentum – After sprint dodge roll, sprinting briefly consumes no stamina

· Unburdened Roll – First dodge roll after shield break costs no stamina

Consider this sequence:

1.Shield breaks

2.Free dodge roll

3.Momentum sprint window

4.Reduced roll cost baseline

That chain can completely flip a losing engagement. In high-tier PvP, these windows are lethal advantages.

Phase 2: Survival Tree (26 Points)

While movement is the priority, survival utility enhances uptime.

Core Allocations

· Agile Croucher (5 points)

· Looter’s Instinct (5 points) – Faster container reveals

· Additional 3-point node investment

· In-Round Crafting – Field craft while topside

· Suffer in Silence

· Broad Shoulders

· Looter’s Luck

This distribution balances stealth, loot efficiency, and situational durability.

Why Not Stubborn Mule?

Stubborn Mule reduces stamina penalties when over-encumbered. It is viable. However, in PvP scenarios, disciplined players simply drop excess weight before engaging. Active inventory management outweighs passive mitigation.

Phase 3: Conditioning Tree (23 Points)

Conditioning reinforces combat stamina sustain.

Initial Allocation (15 Points)

· Used to the Weight (5 points)

· Blasttor (1 point)

· Fight or Flight (3 points) – Stamina return when hurt

· Gentle Pressure (1 point)

· Proficient Pryer (5 points) – Faster breaching

Fight or Flight is especially valuable mid-engagement. Stamina injection under pressure can allow repositioning instead of panic-firing.

Final Allocation (Remaining 8 Points)

· Unburdened Roll (1 point)

· Survivor Stamina (1 point) – Faster regen when critically hurt

· A Little Extra (1 point)

· Loaded Arms (1 point) – S-tier perk

· Down But Determined (1 point)

· Turtle Crawl (3 points) – Reduced damage while downed

Crawl Synergy: Solo and Team Value

The combination of:

· Crawl Before You Walk

· Turtle Crawl (3 points)

creates substantial downed-state survivability. In solo play, it increases clutch recovery probability. In squads, it extends revive windows under explosive pressure. Given how quickly engagements can swing—especially against grenade-heavy opponents—this survivability layer is not optional at higher tiers.

Why This Build Works

1.Stamina Cost Reduction

2.Stamina Regeneration Buffs

3.Free Action Windows

4.Downed-State Durability

5.Loot-Speed Efficiency

No single perk carries the build. The strength lies in systemic synergy.

Small advantages compound:

· 10% saved here

· 1 free roll there

· 2 seconds of regen window

· No stamina spent vaulting

Stacked together, these create fluid, relentless mobility.

Future Adjustments

If future patches rebalance stamina scaling or adjust perk efficiency, minor reallocations may be necessary. There is also the possibility that additional Expedition rewards expand point capacity further. However, developers are unlikely to allow complete tree saturation long term. For now, this configuration offers one of the cleanest movement-centric builds available.

Closing Perspective

If you value mobility, stamina control, and tactical repositioning, this build delivers across PvE and PvP environments. It enhances quality of life, increases survivability, and enables aggressive play without sacrificing escape options. Movement is power in ARC Raiders. Build for it deliberately, and you will feel the difference immediately.
