Early Amber Farming Guide in Legend of YMIR

Mar-18-2026 PST

In a massively multiplayer online role-playing game like Legend of YMIR, especially one built with play-to-earn mechanics, farming valuable resources early in the server’s life cycle can be extremely profitable. One of the most important resources players should focus on during the early stages of the game is Amber. This material plays a major role in character progression and becomes highly sought after when a server first launches.

Understanding how Amber works and where to farm it efficiently can give players—especially free-to-play users—a strong economic advantage.

Why Amber Is So Valuable

Amber is used in multiple progression systems in Legend of YMIR, including upgrades and enhancement mechanics. Early in the game, many high-spending players (often called “whales”) aggressively push their character upgrades. Because of this, they require large quantities of Amber.

This creates a strong early-game marketplace demand. To sell Amber on the exchange market, players must first collect 50,000 Amber, which can then be converted into an Amber Treasure Box. Once converted, the treasure box becomes a tradable item that can be listed in the market exchange.

When the Korean servers for Legend of YMIR first launched, Amber Treasure Boxes were reportedly selling for 3,000 to 4,000 Diamonds each. As expected in MMO economies, prices gradually declined over time as more players began farming Amber and supply increased. Nevertheless, the early days of a new server remain the most profitable time for Amber farmers.

Method 1: Farming Amber in the Amber Dungeon

The first way to obtain Amber is through the Amber Dungeon located in Valhalla. Players are allowed one hour per day inside this dungeon. During that time, they can focus on collecting Amber nodes and maximizing their resource gains. However, there is an important trade-off. The Amber Dungeon shares the same daily time allocation used for leveling activities in Valhalla. This means players must decide whether they want to spend their hour gaining experience or farming Amber.

Strategy Considerations

Your choice should depend on your long-term strategy:

Free-to-Play Players

If you are playing without spending money, it is usually better to prioritize character progression and leveling on your main account. Higher levels unlock new regions, mechanics, and content, which ultimately improves your farming efficiency later.

Alternative Farming Account

A common strategy is to create an alternate account dedicated specifically to Amber farming. This alt character can spend its daily dungeon hour gathering Amber while your main account focuses on progression.

Since Amber demand is extremely high during the early days of a server, this strategy allows you to generate Legend of YMIR Diamonds while the market price is still strong.

Method 2: Canyon of the World Tree Farming

The second and often more consistent Amber farming location becomes available once you reach approximately Level 35 and complete the main storyline quests. This unlocks the Canyon of the World Tree, a map that allows Amber farming without any daily time limit. Unlike the Amber Dungeon, players can remain here indefinitely and gather resources at their own pace.

Auto Gathering vs Manual Farming

The map supports auto gathering, but it is not always the most efficient method. Amber spawn points in the Canyon of the World Tree are spread far apart, meaning automated gathering often wastes time traveling between nodes. For maximum efficiency, manual farming is recommended. By controlling your character directly, you can move quickly between spawn points and maintain a faster farming rhythm.

The Channel Switching Trick

One of the most effective Amber farming tricks involves using the channel system. Each channel in the Canyon of the World Tree has its own independent resource respawn timer.

Here is how the strategy works:

1.Gather all visible Amber nodes in your current channel.

2.Once the map appears empty, do not wait for respawns.

3.Immediately switch to another channel.

4.Continue farming Amber there.

By repeating this process, players can effectively farm Amber almost nonstop, greatly increasing their resource yield.

Early Level Advantage

Players who level quickly and reach Level 35 early gain another major advantage. Since most of the player base will still be progressing through earlier content, the Canyon of the World Tree will initially have very little competition. This allows early adopters to farm large quantities of Amber before the area becomes crowded. This is one of the most important early-game economic opportunities in Legend of YMIR.

Final Thoughts

Amber farming can be one of the most profitable activities during the early days of a server in Legend of YMIR. By understanding where to farm, how to convert Amber into tradable treasure boxes, and how to use strategies like channel switching, players can take full advantage of early market demand.

While server economies naturally stabilize over time, early preparation and smart farming routes can generate a significant amount of Diamonds before prices drop.
