Because this build relies on high-end gear, it can get pricey. If you want to save time farming Path Of Exile 2 currency, check out our PoE 2 Store for great deals on everything the build uses.
Why Choose the Galvanic Shards Deadeye?
While this build shares similarities with the Galvanic Shards Witchhunter, choosing Deadeye brings significant advantages. Projectile-focused ascendancy nodes like Far Shot and Eagle Eyes ensure you hit hard and fast from a safe distance. Unlike other versions, we skip Endless Munitions—we'll explain why later.
Your main skills are Galvanic Shards, Shockburst Rounds, and Stormcaller Arrow. Galvanic Shards and Shockburst Rounds form your core damage combo, while Stormcaller Arrow helps reliably inflict Shock, maximizing Shockburst Rounds' damage.
Defensively, the build uses a hybrid of evasion and energy shield, which remains highly effective even after armor adjustments in Patch 0.3.0. Ascendancy nodes Gathering Winds and Wind Ward provide an additional layer of defense.
Unlike other players' setups, our build requires only 86% total lightning penetration, with the rest handled by Conductivity, allowing you to obliterate virtually any enemy.
Ascendancy Node Priority
For the Galvanic Shards Deadeye, take ascendancy nodes in this order:
1. Far Shot
2. Gathering Winds
3. Eagle Eyes
4. Wind Ward

Playstyle Tips
PoE 2's weapon set system lets you link skills to passive nodes that amplify their effects.
· Weapon Set 1: Galvanic Shards and Shockburst Rounds—boosts damage, lightning penetration, and attack damage.
· Weapon Set 2: Stormcaller Arrow—amplifies Shock magnitude and duration.
Use Galvanic Shards for mapping and reserve Shockburst Rounds for rares and bosses. Ensure enemies are shocked before firing. Use Emergency Reload if you reach the last bullets to maintain DPS.
For pinnacle bosses, pre-cast Conductivity and Voltaic Mark to reduce enemy lightning resistance and increase Shock chance.
