Skull and Bones Weekly Update: Store Reset, New Blueprints, and Upcoming Events
Aug-14-2025 PSTSkull and Bones has just rolled over its latest store reset. While we're still waiting on fresh patch notes, there's plenty to dig into with new blueprints, rotating gear, and an upcoming event featuring one of the game's most notorious bosses. Let's set sail and see what's new.
No Patch Notes Yet, but Bug Fixes Are in Progress
Ubisoft hasn't dropped any official patch notes this week, but work continues on lingering bugs and performance issues. One notable fix in progress is the Kofer Bar payout bug, which still affects certain missions. According to the title screen notice, the developers aim to have this resolved by the end of the month.
Blackwood Store Highlights
The Blackwood vendor is stocked with fresh weekly seasonal items. If you're hunting for upgrades, here are the standout picks:
· Roaring Mag – Highly recommended for ship builds.
· Storm Vigil – A great addition to your arsenal.
· Nova Armor – Stylish and functional.
· Mark of the Wolf – Finally back in rotation for those hunting rare furniture.
· Tanasha Armor – Excellent for negating and removing harmful ship effects.
· Storm Woven Symphony (with Crescendo) – A must-have for boosting combat potential.
· Tooling's Guidance – Strong furniture option for versatility.
· Shark Carving Station – Cosmetic flair for your ship's interior.
· Endless Requiem, Urban Great Gun, and Daka Torpedoes – Available in both weapon form and blueprints, with blueprints being the better long-term investment.
Yianita's Wares
Over at Yianita's shop, captains can find:
· Dummy Spring Loader Blueprint – 3,000 Pieces of Eight and worth every coin.
· Dardell's Gun – Solid firepower for your loadout.
· Buccaneer's Oath Armor Blueprint – Perfect if you missed it previously.
Boss Spotlight: Vicrim Takes Center Stage
This week's map activity is dominated by Vicrim, who will be spawning more frequently than usual. Veterans know he drops valuable Skull and Bones Items, so it's the perfect time to hunt him down and claim his loot.
Fleet Upgrades and Build Tips
Upgrading your ships remains key to staying competitive. Here's what's working well right now:
· Focus on getting ships to level 15—though some builds are worth holding at 14 if you're waiting for specific weapon upgrades.
· Fleet slots management is important—having around 10 open slots can make room for future ship additions.
· The Urban Great Guns work especially well with a burning build. Pair them with Incendiary Lethal and Amplified Burning, plus the Trunion Furnace for spreading fire damage. Trigger the Ablaze effect with compatible furniture for maximum impact.
· One drawback: Urban Great Guns require precise aiming—firing at a bad angle can cause part of your volley to miss. Mastering their firing arc is essential.
Looking Ahead
While this week's update is light on sweeping changes, the increased Vicrim activity and new store rotations keep things interesting. With a cosmetic event set to drop next week, plus ongoing bug fixes, it's worth checking in daily to grab limited-time gear and hunt down high-value targets.
Until next time, captains—keep your ships upgraded, your cannons loaded, and your eyes on the horizon.
